About Our Ministry

Who We Are

Hope & Healing was begun in 1998 by 2 couples brought together through their mutual counselor to support one another in their adultery recovery. We are peers, ordinary people who have survived the bitterest of betrayals, done the work of adultery recovery, and are willing to share what we’ve learned. We are not, nor do we claim to be, experts or counselors.

What We Are

A Christian based ministry that has supported couples in adultery recovery since 1998. We’re devoted to helping couples heal who have experienced the heartache of adultery.

Why We Are

The desire to have access to other couples that had survived intact this devastator of marriages—adultery—was the catalyst. We want couples dealing with adultery recovery to know they are not alone and that there is hope.

Hope & Healing Ministries, Inc. is a 501c3 California Nonprofit Religious Corporation.

Donations are tax deductible and allow us to continue to offer support resources. There are no fees for our services.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in one God who is the creator of all things and exists in three persons: the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

  2. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word given to us and is without error. It is the final authority for faith and life.

  3. We believe that salvation is by grace alone, a free gift to all who accept it, made available by Jesus Christ's paying the penalty for our sin.

*Please note: We do not require participants to agree with our statement of faith, but want to set forth the foundation on which Hope & Healing is based.

We serve in obedience to the following scripture:

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

- 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
