WHO WE ARE Hope & Healing was begun in 1998 by 2 couples brought together through their mutual counselor to support one another in their adultery recovery. Gary & Mona Shriver are one of those couples. Facilitators are peers, ordinary people who have survived the bitterest of betrayals, done the work of adultery recovery, and are willing to share what they have learned to walk alongside others on the road to recovery. They are not, nor do they claim to be, experts or counselors.
WHAT WE ARE A Christian based support system devoted entirely to helping couples who have experienced the heartache of adultery. Hope & Healing was founded and designed to support, encourage, offer hope and provide practical strategies for couples willing to grow through this crisis in their marriage.
WHY WE ARE The desire, the need, to have access to other couples that had survived intact this devastator of marriages—adultery—was the catalyst. We want couples dealing with adultery recovery to know they are not alone and that there is hope. The benefit of reconciliation, recovery and restoration is the cry of our hearts and we are dedicated to helping others through this process.

Donations are tax deductible and allow us to continue to offer support resources. There are no fees for our services. We do not want money to ever determine whether a couple can participate and benefit. What we offer does incur costs so we gladly accept donations. We serve in obedience to the following scripture:
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
